Haiku Poem by Joshua Swanson

Haiku

A selection of Haiku:

Vibrant life leaps high
Through the blue skies of summer;
Beauty is eternal

Cherry blossoms fall
And the world keeps on turning
Mankind means nothing

The geese return here
Warm rain falls from cloudy skies
Ah, to be alive

Water droplets fall
Yet the sun still shines brightly on
Life is filled with joy

Snow drifts, the sun sets,
No-one can live for ever,
Go to meet your fate.

Crisp snow fades to slush;
Soon all life will awaken;
Dark dreams of ice fade.

Glowing sun shoots red,
Through evening shaded leaves,
My thoughts stir subtly.

Buttercups drifting
On the tides of forever
Die that they may live

The seasons drift on,
Falling snow blows peacefully.
Time knows no ending.
