As the King of Shadows
welcomes me to his dominion
I feel disinclined to remain
by his side for all of eternity

As I lay dying in his arms
with my eyes wide open
I keep reaching for the light
slowly fading from within

As the King of Shadows
takes hold of my immortal soul
I recoil at his touch hot and cold
fingers curled around my heart

As I lay dying in his arms
the dark figure´s gaze piercing
I know him patiently waiting
for me to succumb to his love

As the King of Shadows
caresses my pale clammy skin
I grow weary of resisting him
and slowly close my eyes
