Gun Control Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Gun Control

Gun control
A husband bought a fine revolver
it was to defend his home and chattel,
but he had children young, packed the gun in and
put it high up in the wardrobe.
Then it happened one night some robbers broke into
his house at gunpoint, and took his computer,
tablet and iPhone and left.
Furious and humiliated he found his revolver,
loaded it with trembling hands and accidentally shot his wife.
He didn`t go to jail, kept his revolver, anyone in America
understand a man has the right to defend his family
