Guilty On All Three Counts Poem by THEODORE MOSLEY

Guilty On All Three Counts

Propelled in his own spotlight of justice his seductive eyes were intensified by Black Lives Matter rhetoric.

Taking his breathe away with the power of the shield he stood tall inside himself.

Arrogant and domineering his soul withstood the alignment of truth in the eyes of the beholders.

Shifting his weight to understand the proclamation of his authority he descended with his judgement of death.

Listening with attentive ears his plea fell on def ears of Blue Uniforms of power.

A human being cried out for his mother; another human being knee of silence cried out for sustainability.

A mother's heart is torn asunder; a mother's heart is torn asunder; a mother's heart is torn asunder.

With malice as his defender his countenance worshipped the actions of his inclusion.

Motionless on the ground with submission his aggressor applauded his strength of nine minutes of no retaliation.

With a shield of certified power he became the democracy of death.

Our white robes and our white hoods are obsolete; we hide behind perceived as threats that will exonerate our white privilege.

Blue Lives Matter; All Lives Matter; white privilege is the patriot of this country.

Today you are guilty on all three counts; George Floyd changed history!
