Guilt Trip Poem by Amber Straughter

Guilt Trip

I am built with guilt!
I should feel ashamed
But i'm not to blame
Should i feel bad
Or should I be the one mad?
All i can say is that
I'm on a guilt trip
Be the one forgetting the past
Dont be the one to lie
When you get caught Dont cry
When you cry,
Then i know you are
In a guilt trip
Give and take
But Dont hate and stop eating off a guilt plate
Trapped in the guilt that I built
This lie I've made put me in a guilt trip
Telling the truth will set me free
Then I'll be me
