Guilt Poem by Katherina Palomo

Guilt

Restless nights
missing sleep
painful fights
its all to deep

swallow me whole
I want to let go
Is being strong my role?
I cant believe I sunk this low

Darkness emits within me
I want to be near the blade
I want to feel free
Am I the daughter they made?

Silence is what I scream
Frowns is what I hide
Please let this all be a dream
I'm sorry I lied

I'm always awake because of guilt
