Guardian Spirit Poem by Taylor Ryan

Guardian Spirit

Rush to the sky
the woods sing out
heat rises
oceans roar!
Soul protects.

Hurry, the clouds
they run far
floating no longer
blown with fury!
Wind is gone.

Bark out the candle
hold that light
always feel the warmth
Sun falls to Night!
Fire is gone.

Capture the lake
run along the creek
reach the ocean
it swallows whole!
Water is gone.

Don't cry now
you aren't alone
in some sense
You are here!
Spirit remains.
