Growth Poem by Eva Beylich

Growth

Keep watch over
limited earth skin.
Cries for help grow louder,
warnings go unheard
in new furrows and cuts.
Open wounds in scarred skin,
only scarcely covered
with bandages.
We spread - superficial
rank growth.
But cancerous tumours
will be removed
in order to be barred forever.
Who was malicious now?
