Grown And Plain Poem by Cate HowellMurray

Grown And Plain

The wronged one
The righteous moral
Enemy within
Her camera grinds
Clenched fists
Asthmatic In the wings
Winded
Detached
A child's dawning knowledge
Of the signs
Within the moment
I
Suspended
Amoral
The Bull's horn penetrated
The Cat adored
Killing him
Ripping out his throat
Seeping from his eyes
Their ritual
As players
This instinct is one sided raw
Possession
Detached
Daedelus
Human godhead spell
Seeded descendant
Grown and plain
Speaking, standing up
To wear and tear
Easy Love
He will break
His own heart
Raw remember
He was wronged once
