Growing Hate Poem by Reba Haapala

As fear grew in his heart
The more hating came easier
There’s no telling what he will do
You’ve hurt him to many times
He put his heart into your hands
But you broke it in a million pieces
Now down on the ground
Where’s there none there to help him up
All the pain and hate builds up insides
Eating at his heart little by little
All that he can she is hateful words
Wishing he never meat you
But he can’t change his past
What happens to him no one knows
So the pain grows with in
A lie he lives hiding his heart
Waiting to disappear from life and pain
