Grizzly Bear Poem by Phil Soar

Grizzly Bear

Rating: 5.0

So deep into the Alaskan wilderness
He slept beneath the wooden walkway

Brooks Falls was the best place to view this
When he woke and rose, his size was incredible

Standing on his back legs he almost touched the decking
Looking over the edge we saw him yawn

Teeth, the size of which astounded me
He went to the waters edge and caught his first salmon of the day

Breathtaking.
