Greenwood Poem by Alicya Trevor

Greenwood

cages upon cages
white walled rooms
no communication
blackened hearts of punches thrown
a sigh
lashes ornamented with heavy mascara
crimson coverage
cold unforgiving spaces
steel iron cuffs
electric waves emitting howls of pain
blood stained tears
towering sentinels covered in barb
an estate of Greenwood splendor
