Green Fields Poem by Dean Meredith

Green Fields

She climbed the fence
Like a natural
In her skinny jeans
Thin legs & bony but
Straddled the wire
And was over
Spidering her way
Down the other side
From certainty
And entrapment
To the wild forces
Imagined... unknown
So many possible choices
However single minded
In her lust for something
The decision already made
It seemed so easy
Fate & her seduction
Temptress without question
Prey free at last
The chase begins
