Greek Thought



When non-gender specificity
came in in old Greece,
the Greek for 'sailor'
prompted thought.
In short,
a 'nautilos' became a 'naut'.

To Greek thought,
think I,
we can be thankful,
that male astronauts
are not astronautili.
