Greater Troubles Poem by Jessica Thomas

Greater Troubles

Rating: 5.0

Why this am I feeling?
Blessings God has begun revealing
This will take time to comprehend
My demented mind may not mend
But life will return again
Millions of jumbled thoughts in my mind
Only greater troubles will I find
Hoping these dreams are defined
They seem so desolate
Then I start to deteriorate
And in my work I procrastinate
Feeling as though I'd rather be idle
Then commence to need some revival
I try to steer clear of my own evil
Getting deeper thoughts out with every phrase
Just want to express, maybe get some praise
Still words are my biggest craze
Keep digging way down inside of me
It'll bring fear for my eyes to see
And loneliness will be my most immense fee.
