Greater Than The World Poem by Patrick Banda

Greater Than The World

there was an eclipse,
one of a kind, never before
seen, and to man unknown.
but my world was bright, it
was glowing, for the light
was within me.

days turned to nights,
clouds were at their darkest,
but my world was blue, and at
its bluest.even when storms blew,
my world was still, like undisturbed
waters.peace was within my soul.

the world turned blown,
losing its colourful beauty, grass
trees, and flowers, all withered,
and dried.but my world was green,
streams were flowing, rainbows were
colourful, and flowers at there splendour.
for spring was within me.

i conquered the world, but me it could
not, for the one within me was and is
greater than the world.
