Goodbye, Forever Poem by Patrick Banda

like birds of the same feathers,
we were flocking together,
flying to the same destination.
on the way, my wings broke,
and down i fell.but you dint
bother yourself, you never wondered
what had happened to me.flapping,
you kept on flying, and in your own
mind, you blamed me, probably
thought i didnt want to go with you.


anyway, when my wings are healed,
just like you, i will fly in my own
direction, with high hopes to a postive
destination.as for you, i only wish
happiness.it seems like you were in a
a hurry, even to help an old lady cross
the road, or lighten her heavy load.i
hope you find what you were looking
for, in me which you did not.


just like you did not when you left,
never worry about me, because am
confident, i will see the light at dawn.
for the path am in is right.and dont
you look back, cause am turning over
a new leaf.even if you do, it will be too
late, cause there are those who were
desperate, others still, were praying for
what you were playing with.this is it,
this is how it ends, goodbye, forever.
