Graveyard Kiss Poem by John Thorkild Ellison

Graveyard Kiss

Rating: 2.8

While you are rotting underneath the earth,
Consumed by worms and maggots,
Utterly dead,
I lie alive and cosy in my bed.
But I have not forgotten you,
I still go down to the cemetery.

For what it's worth
I would not miss
Your graveyard kiss.

Dear Love, I've not forgotten you!

Your bony fingers bring me bliss.

ok... never heard it put like that. Very dramatic. Love this composition though. Proof that love lives on.
