Granny Poem by alex hales

Granny

You faded into the void,
And yet thinking of you brings so much joy.

I can see the force that takes me down the contorted road,
A odyssey to attempt alone.

What good could come from a world that lies.
What good can be seen when something dies.

Home is away and my journey is never in place.
But still that face, flows through my mind like a Crystal blue cascade.

Drivin through persistance and questioning of my own existance.
One thing stays a constant, a belief that you made me modest.

You showed me that life could be won through cordiality.
So i will let you be my constant forever greatful for the ideals you taught.
Death may end our relationhip but my memory of you may keep my hope alive.
I do hope to see you again, a nice thought but rarley do those become the truth.
So i will take my grain of salt and be happy that i knew a person as loving as you.
