Grand Ma' Poem by ojok phillips awany

Grand Ma'

Rating: 5.0

Grand ma!
A pillar of stone
dark and beautiful
Old, yet strong
A bank of tales
A mouth of laughter
A drum of livelihood
A library of wisdom
your smile shines like the sun
Unforgetful like the angle
Ah! grand ma'
A shoulder for the shoulder less.

Grand Ma'
Queen of the tropic
Mother of the motherless
rock of yesterday, today, and tomorrow
Grand ma'
You are a living soul inside everyone's heart.

A beautifully worded poem. A great tribute indeed! I liked it.
