Graceful Storm Poem by Amanda Swindahl

Graceful Storm

Vicious dismal floats,

An eerie silence breathes,

Darkness latches on with its finger tips,

Lurking vengeance rises,

Harsh words whisper no return.

Numb without a pardon,

These thunders roar,

Spectacular fire in each ray,

Waves of clouds roll,

Patterned rain pours,

Vicious dismal floats,

Points its toes and stands alone,

Sinking in,

An eerie silence breathes,

Contemptuous aggression moves,

Such graceful beauty,

Darkness latches on with its finger tips,

Painting such bold watercolor tears,

It moves to its own voice,

Alarming clench of fear,

Lurking vengeance rises,

alarming how it knows no slumber,

Harsh angry tones,

Numb without a pardon,

Thunders with such form.

Dancing parade in the night,

A graceful storm,

No point for safe return,

Delicately it destroys.
