Goulash Poem by Barbara Attaway

Goulash

come and get it
i call to the boys
please wash your hands
and put up the toys

my grandson was five
you know how they fight
trying anything you cook
not wanting a bite

what is it? he asks
it's goulash! I say
goulash...made with goo? he asks
now THAT made my day

true story!
