Goodbye Poem by Tony Adah

Goodbye

There's an inner voice
Which echoes in my ear
Yes I was right
Never to be washed and washed
Into shreds of rags
There was a perfectly imperfect union
And feet stamping away
From the depth of affection
Confused,
The road was paved with Hardcores
Walking back or ahead
Was a dilemma, still a dilemma
Don't let your heart's chamber
Where I sat open
For it's a shame to turn back,
Dear, what a beautiful way
To say goodbye!
