Goodbye



A lingering kiss,
One last hug.
A tear falling,
From the corner,
Of an eye.
Deep heartfelt sighs.

Eyes stare at,
The ground.
Resignation sets in.

Hands gently wave,
To ever increasing,
Distance,
Slowly two souls,
Grow further apart.
