' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' GOOD FOR THE SOUL

Plucked kisses
from her pretty mouth

as they flowered
from her lips

flower
after
flower

the perfume
of her

voice.

Placed her pretty
kisses

in a vase
in my mind

so that they brightened up
my heart

made me
start

with their beauty
every time

I remembered them

good
for the soul

warming the cockles
of this

lover’s heart

I think I should have a vase in my head for all those special moments - great idea and great poem!

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
