Good Clean Crime Poem by Richard Jarboe

Good Clean Crime

Rating: 5.0

What ever happened to the good old days
When crime had a sense of dignity?
Well dressed Mobsters prancing at the speak easy
With a classy sense of honor in their iniquity.

There was a touch of honor with no rats in the crowd,
There was no second guessing, everyone was proud,
And knew how to party and take a vacation,
And make their move by occasional assassination.

I like this, Richard! Big fan of the movie, Goodfellas.... They were violent, yes. But can't compare to our society where brother shoots brother in the hoods. How sad, and families are murdered and women taking a walk in New York, would love to us, in the USA, stop killings. It's like a game here. We no longer get respected but are attacked. Guns come here Via cartels and can be bought for cheap. On the street. People do not get it is a crime to kill. Panagiota Romios.
