Gone Fishing Poem by Francie Lynch

Gone Fishing

A trout, going about its fish business
In the stream, breathing and searching,
Is distracted, then attracted
By the flash of the lure;
A fly, an easy meal, languishing on the surface.
But the real story is on shore,
Reeling.
