Life's music is playing,
Each day a different tune
Myriad of ideas swaying,
But you, you left too soon.

And I don't know
Where to find you,
And I don't know where to go
Nor how I'm going to go on
With love's pain,
That hurts me so.

In life,
You may lose everything
But when love falls apart,
There is no consolation
For a shattered, broken heart.

Each day when I awaken,
I think you might return
But when I face the music
There's no sweet tune,
Nor loving words,
To learn
All days become,
Cold, lifeless,
Totally worthless, blurred
Listen,
Now they're playing
The saddest song
We've ever heard.
