Gone With The Wind Poem by Sandra Feldman

Gone With The Wind

Rating: 5.0

I know I can't change anything,
But I Try,
And whisper to the Wind,
Let's go together, you and I,
As romantic dreamers do,
So It complies,
And, carries my words away,
Into the deep dark night of oblivion,
And as a player in a lost-cause-play,
A tremor starts to tear me apart,
In the darkness of a World without a heart,
That We cannot change, the wind and I,
So I cry,
But, we shall still try,
The lonely Wind and I,
And someday, maybe.....?
We will not have to live,
By the 'law of the Lie'
