Gone Poem by Mitchell Long

Gone

I want kids to learn my poems
Alone insanity
Ill be gone and long forgotten
When they cherish me

Words of fear and lost emotion
Holds my hopes still high
Ill be six feet under screaming
Let the angels cry

Ill be cold
but still I rest
to open minds
in lifes failed quest

learning, loved
they see finally
I am gone but not forgotten
And they cherish me

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Only the first line came to me at a moments notice. it took me a few days to finally finish it. focusing only on that. it began having its own personality to me
