Gone Poem by Sarita Milliner

Gone

Gone to soon, are those infant years,
When nothing mattered and you had no fears!
Gone too soon, are those elementary years,
Reading, writing and listening, with both ears!
Gone too soon, are those teenage years,
Secrets, lies, apologies and influential peers!
Gone too soon, are the those indecisive years,
Scrambled thoughts, wild friends full of cheers!

Gone to soon is a memory, time to move on and persevere,
Spread your wings, soar like and eagle and forge a new frontier!
