Today is a day that we will never forget,
Playing over in our minds like that favorite cassette!
Thought waves ripple like water, reflecting the sunlit sky,
While the image of playful birds, captures our eyes!
...

Have you ever tried to figure out, what makes the world go round?
Or wondered if its' axis broke, would it float aimlessly around?
Have you ever really wondered, is there life in outer space?
Or tried to simulate "ET's" voyage, during a bicycle race?
...

A symbol of guilt, sin, shame and pain,
To, scorn one’s life, in an effort to de-fame.
It stands out like a light, in the dark of night,
Its’ bright red color give the stars much delight.
...

Only a mother, can love you sight unseen,
From the moment of conception,
To your first whaling scream;

...

Billowing trees, rustling leaves,
Moving objects through its breeze.
Cold air rushing down the path,
Just a figment, of nature’s wrath!
...

As I reflect back on that day,
I cry silent tears,
As I think about tomorrow,
I cry silent tears,
...

Thirty-one days old, twelfth month of the year,
Season named winter, in the Northern Hemisphere!
Holiday celebrations on various days throughout,
With advocates for awareness also moving about!
...

I remember it like it was yesterday, that time when we first met,
I saw you from across the room, a day I’ll never forget.
Your well groomed hair and dapper dress, immediately caught my eye,
With clouded vision, heart fast beating, I missed you walking by.
...

Close your eyes and lose yourself, in sweet serenity,
Let your mind's eye, see things, as you wish they would be.
Find a place of calm, to relax your fast beating heart,
Smile as you dream in wonderment, of life's segmented parts.
...

Perched high in the trees, far from enemies,
Your head turns in rotation, of 270 degrees.
Your sensitive ears, hears the sounds of prey,
A family of rodents, from their den they stray.
...

It's the day after Christmas and all through the house,
Everyone is sleeping, including my spouse!
Tummy still full from the holiday spread,
I can hardly lift myself, out of my bead.
...

Let us enter into this New Year, leaving all negativity behind,
As we exercise our abilities, to embrace its new design.
Let us wake up to the sunlight, and gain energy from its rays,
As we embrace the days new challenges, that never ceases to amaze.
...

An echo hides on the other side, of a valley wide and deep,
In the creviced walls of caves, where bats choose to sleep.

An echo hides in water, between the ripples of a skipped rock,
...

As Commander and Chief you took an oath,
To lead the US on a path, of economic growth!
Opposition at your feet, never conceding defeat,
A battle well fought, are words bearing repeat!
...

Where do Poets go, when it's time to create?
Imagery through thoughts, so that others can relate!
What place can one find, that can offer ample solitude,
When creative juices are flowing, at random magnitudes?
...

A wall of protection shields me from the horrors of the night,
I close my eyes and drift away to see beauty in my sight!
I see clouds like fluffy marshmallows beneath the Moon so high,
Winged Angels and Unicorns, soaring freely across the sky!
...

Thanksgiving is a Blessing in and of itself,
Not something that just sits upon a shelf.
An act of giving, a symbol of gratitude,
An expression of love displayed through attitude!
...

Oh, Christmas tree glowing bright,
Your halo Angel lights the night.
Garland of silver dressed to impress,
Snowflakes adorn your holiday dress.
...

God created you in his image, and breathed life into your lungs,
He provided you with a help mate, to bring forth your many young.
He equipped you with the right tools, to help you along the way,
He gave you dominion over many things, to share with whom you may.
...

Tip-toed footsteps, enters the room,
Eyes tight closed, refuse to move.
Light sweet scent, of Jasmine perfume,
Soft touching hands, bowed gift, approved!
