Where did the moon go?
I let it leave my sight
When I turned around again
It had vanished from the night
It’s gone, it’s gone, its gone!
How can this be true?
I was going to save the moon
Save it just for you

Where on earth is my shadow
I swear it was right here
I briefly looked away
And my shadow did disappear
It’s gone! It’s gone! It’s gone!
Where did it go off to?
Without that darn shadow
I’m like a foot without a shoe

My god, where’s the sun?
Wasn’t it in the sky?
I turned my head for a moment
and the sun must have waved goodbye
It’s gone! It’s gone! It’s gone!
How could this be?
I had so many wonderful plans
And the sun was the key!

Where did you go?
I was just stroking your hair
I closed my eyes for a second
And now you’re not there
You’re gone! You’re gone! You’re gone!
Why did you have to die?
Life used to be beautiful,
Now I’m left asking why.
