Gone Poem by Aaron Alexander

Gone

Friends and family come and go
Words might heal and sow
But it is your actions that I will not let go
Your interactions with people
Ring a bell in the church's steeple
You were here and now you are almost gone
Waiting for you will be hard and long
So I'm back to the way I used to live
Back to the gold pan siv
Back to the way things used to be
And life with hope but misery
So goodbye, farewell
I hope to see you soon as my eyes begin to swell
