Golden sky you taunt me
I look up and all I see is peace and serenity
Golden sky I want to be you.
I want to be easy-going
Beautiful
I want to be as you do golden sky
I'm jealous
I'm jealous of the imagination that resides in you I'm jealous of the images you make me see Golden sky in your clouds I see a road to anywhere but here
And I see a home far in the the distance just out of reach
Golden sky I want to be your place
I want golden rays nurturing the Earth
Golden sky I want the responsibility that you have
I want to join you if I could I would
I would glide as peacefully you do from this darkened landscape
