Golden Heart

He wears his heart on his sleeves
Do not hurt him unaware
He puts it on a platter
Like John the Baptist’s head
When you see the swollen veins
Do not burn it as a corpse
It has life as much as yours
Beats and dances with such grace
If you spot and see the rust
That cracked the iron in him
Pour your sacred ointment
Suck out those toxic venom
If he happens to open up
And show you his lustful side
Do not judge him he is just a man
The imperfect son of human

He wears his heart on his sleeves
Do not hurt him unaware
He puts it on a platter
Like John the Baptist’s head
If you stumble on his bruises
Bump into his darken scars
Do not be alarmed just beware
Not to belittle his endurance

If he baptizes you
With the sprinkle of his anger
Be patient he can’t help it
His blood flows in despair
Do not be hasty to discard it
By the surface of the stiffness
If you open it and see the depth
His golden heart shines goodness

He wears his heart on his sleeves
Do not hurt him unaware
He puts it on a platter
Like John the Baptist’s head
When you see the swollen veins
Do not burn it as a corpse
It has life as much as yours
Beats and dances with such grace
It has life as much as yours
His golden heart is such bliss...
