Gods Awakening Poem by Adams King

Gods Awakening

Sweet precious soul
comforting is the gospel
that speak of a life beyond
such life that death comes in between

There are many mysteries
that mortals can never unfold
the world of immortality
still seems to be a fairytale to some

How weak are the minds of men
foolish to think that life ends here
and quick to pronounce in tears
that the grave is the final home for all

Look! beyond what your eyes can see
that which only the heart could conceive
the joyous world across the bridge
where men, once god are made gods again

From the mystery scriptures it's written
the last enemy would be defeated
and every man must live to die
for to die is a proof that we live

O! immortal rise from your earthen bed
for those who die will die no more
death has only come to transport you
Where men must die then wake as gods
