God Touched My Hands Poem by Jackie Kirby

God Touched My Hands

Rating: 5.0

I sit each night in the dark
When the past darkens
my heart
Yet their are others whose past
are far worse
Than I could ever image
To the man who lost his
wife an children
Who's heart
beats only tears
of sorrow
With each breath
he takes he
wishes it was
his last
For
life stopped when
his family
die

When he laid them
to rest
I can not an wish to
never know this pain

I only know I'm writing
this for God has
touched my hands
to this man if you ceased
to exist

Who will carry thier memory's
on of
those you loved that are
gone

Remember that first kiss with your
wife you loved so much
The first
steps your children took and the
first time they said daddy
There
is a pain within your soul
that will never go away
But you
must wake and realize if you
chose to slowly die

Because grief has
filled your soul
Then with that
last heart beat

Where do u think
you'll go This is not what your
wife are children would want for
you

Stop an think for
God has spoken
to me in my dreams

And i must tell
you must survive
To help others who
death has took there loves

For only
those who have felt this pain can
help another survive
One last thing
my hands were told i must type
Your
wife an children are at
heavens gates
Watching over you an
as time goes on
you'll walk to the gates of heaven

Where your family awaits so take
hold and be strong
And help those
who death has stolen thier
love ones away

My friend your family awaits at
heavens gates
But your path to reach
them you must follow
With deepest sorrow
an regrets
I give this to you
For God
has touch my hands and
told me this i
must do

From God to my hands i write
He loves you

Too true... We are so wrapped up in our own misery that we forget that someone else is suffering too, maybe more than us! And God does love each and everyone of us, and that is such a beautiful message to write about. The pathos was very good. Thankyou, this poem was awsome and I enjoyed reading it! (It made me cry, it's so sad...)
