God's Stars Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Made in His Image,
To shine forth in the dark,
Given a divine mandate,
To destroy... Deception's Heart.

To heal the wounded,
To find all those lost,
To gather the rejected,
The outcast... at any cost.

The forgotten and despaired,
Those who society left behind.
Broken in body, spirit and mind.
Resounding that... It's their time.

Empowering with understanding,
Of who they were created to be,
Gifted and purposed with dreams,
That will become stark reality.

Snatching from the lost and found,
Bound by chains, guilt and frowns,
Casting away all gloom and doom,
Forging the place where visions bloom.

God created stars... so brilliantly bright,
To share with His Son... Who is The Light,
Answering His call... defeats your plight,
With blessings and favor day and night.
