God's Hand Poem by Richard D. Cagg

God's Hand

Today is mirrored in tomorrow
Just as today becomes part of the past
The flight of time is so fast
Its passage leaves a tear and a sorrow

A question is ascertained
What in life is pertained
To the real and to the unreal
What indeed do the vapors steal
As they whirl and twirl
In anticipation for an image to uncurl

Is there no ending for a beginning
Is there one beginning for an ending
Might this be destined by the Creator
Who holds tomorrow in his hand.
