Glorious Gifts Poem by Suresh Dogra

Glorious Gifts

Rating: 2.5

Everyday I looked at my face
In the dead looking glass
Then suddenly it came to pass
And I realized with a stunning effect
That the world appears spontaneously
Without the need of an intermediary
In my own living eyes
Cured of self-love
I fell in love with the world
And it blessed my eyes and empty heart
With plenitude of its glorious gifts
