Gloomy Days Poem by Lady in Blue Shades of the love deprived

Gloomy Days

Oh, what a beautiful gloomy day
Not a hint of sunshine, not a single ray
Each time I come out so does the rain
The cold meets my skin to ease the pain
Rather than a summers breeze
I prefer the droplets from the trees
Rather than enjoying a song birds chirp
I look at a tadpole musing in his turf
Rather than a typical sky of endless blue with every shade of a sunny day
I prefer my shades of gray
I admire the puffy dark clouds that loom
Shadowing even my own gloom
I yearn for the claps of thunder and blasts of lightening
It's simply divine and eerily exciting
Gloomy days are so peaceful and tranquil
No noise of children, no bees abuzz, no noise of which the days are filled
A splat and a sputter
From rain drops, streaming down my shutters
Sounds of a distant ocean
So close and in motion
