Better is the luck that comes,
If one thinks of it as fortune.
Deserving to get,
Given not by chance.
As a gift.
When one prays faithfully.
To know from 'Whom',
Bestows those wishes...
To want and receive.
More with a priority,
On pleasing the 'need'.
Not frivolous wants to test and tease.
Better is the luck that comes,
To be given and not by chance.
Done to romance in daydreams to delude.
Since it is God,
Who has blessed us with life to live.
Wanting this for no one to forget,
Expressing when we pray...
To first say we are grateful,
24/7 each and everyday.
Knowing we do not have to rely on luck.
But it is 'Us' who seldom remembers,
To 'Whom' we should be thankful.
Listening to supply our needs.
Determining if our wants to wish,
Have been earned.
With a necessity to fulfill!
Better than luck can prove to do.
