Ghost Of Peg Poem by Ima Ryma

Ghost Of Peg

With dreams of film stardom she came
To Hollywood, but soon she died.
Peg Entwistle in death got fame
For jumping to her suicide
From 'H' top in the Hollywood
Sign, leaving a short note below,
That doing this was for the good.
Soon afterward her ghost would show
To passersby with her sad face,
Dressed in 1930's attire,
As though bound in this time and place,
Still chasing film stardom desire.

Scent of gardenias in the air,
Peg's favored perfume she would wear.
