Getting ready for elections,
Please, hold your nose
No smell of roses,
But!
Lies for All,
No discrimination
Politicians, talk, crawl
With determination
Promising everyone the Moon
When they know very well
There is only One,
Not to be given to anyone,
But
What does it matter
If lies pave the way?
Power is power,
Morals and decency,
Who practices, Those,
Anyway!
Another powerful and incisive poem. The words are like the blade of a sword, so incisive it could.cut you to the.core. Yet, dirty politicians could never be cut.because their lies are so embedded right through their very core.
Part 2. , and still don't see their lack of morality in so many different areas of life, and still will vote for him as he lowers their income to braggadocio over foreign leaders. Oh but the list goes on just like my ire. Thank you for your fearless poem! .
Part one. It is unfortunate that there are so many voters with a lack of morals, a lack of education with which to help them make good choices based on history, philosophy and other intelligent courses. I cannot understand how people vote into am office a very ignorant man and set him in front of nuclear buttons

I concur with the wonderful comments of.the.great Poetess, Susan Williams. There are many voters who are so blind that they couldn't see the character of a man they put into power. Yes, some politicians just keep on promising without delivering. Enough is enough. The people want results. A poem woven with care for the many. Strong and straightforward write.
