Gentle As A Lion Poem by Ismael Iniguez Carvajal

Gentle As A Lion

Rating: 1.5

Blind by rage
I paid the price
As my life...

Turns another page

Weathered and torn
If I could be Born
A brand new Man....

I count my sins
My convictions kick in
It looks so grim

And I realize I am what
I have become.....

To stray from that
Only to call this my unholy home

Cold as Ice
It hurts to touch
The blessed Man

Or to even look him in his eyes
So surprised
I once was a gentle soul
