Geisha
Yoarashi Okinu, her name,
From a very poor family,
So a geisha girl she became.
And then a mistress she did be
To Kobayashi Kinpei who
Was a rich and violent man.
She met Arashi Ribaku.
These two lovers conceived a plan
To poison Kinpei, which was done.
Ribaku got three years in jail,
But Yoarashi was deemed the one
More guilty, as a mere female.
1872 came time,
She was beheaded for her crime.
