Gaze Poem by Mushtaque B Barq

Gaze

A beggar is reason
Love, the Prince's crown
Faith is the King
Submission, the Ecstasy.

Gaze, Gaze and Gaze
leave the goblets two
at His mercy,
Even if they into bits be
every bit shall find its course to the sea.

How shall then a beggar
raise his shamless head
for heads are the boots
of pulsing hearts.
