Garry Owen Poem by TIMOTHY KNIGHT HILL

Garry Owen

Riding in my Avenger
Bon Jovi blasting in my headphones
I'm a cowboy on a steel horse I ride
M1 Abrams tanks and Bradleys cut a trail in the sand
The Cavalry moving forward
Riding into the face of the enemy
what fate awaits
Our is not to question why
it is to ride or die

Ride or Die.. you fought for your country and made oath to country and God. You did your duty under oath. War is something which I pray in the future will be non existent.. Peace on Earth. Very well written and conveyed a lot in your prose... thank you for sharing...Johannax
