Furious Fire Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Furious Fire

Furious fire
Singed ashen
Wings
What pulled me
Towards doom
Unseen killer
strings.

What bound me
To you
Were Mere
Shackles of pain
Why couldn't I
Fight back
Couldn't restrain

How I slid down
This dubious
Black hole
Strapped to the
Driving seat
Still lost control

Sucked into
sadness
Little of me
remains
Scars of my
Past
Shards scattered
over the plains

Like billion stars
Sparkle on shores
My many parts
Tell secret lores
Nalini
